Joseph Barral has been an exhibiting artist for fifteen years. His work has been exhibited at numerous venues including the Art Directors Club, NY, NY; Lynn Arts Gallery, Boston, MA; Monroe Center For the Arts, Hoboken, NJ; Caelum Gallery, NY,NY; B.W.A.C., Brooklyn, NY; and the Angel Orensanz Foundation, NY, NY. In 2017 Joseph was selected by Arlo hotels to design and paint an original 25 ft. mural in their hotel. In 2015, Joseph was chosen by the Historic House Trust of NY and Historic Richmondtown to paint a temporary mural on a 17th century landmark house for their Art This House campaign. In 2009 Joseph was commissioned by the New York Transit Museum’s Education Department to construct an interactive scale model of the Manhattan Bridge.
Joseph earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts with concentrations in Graphic Design & Art Therapy. Born and raised on Staten Island, Joseph now resides and has his art studio in Brooklyn NY.
